Strawberry Smoothie
If I could recommend growing one plant to start your kitchen garden, it would be strawberries. I live in zone 10b, and my strawberry plants have been produced prolifically since spring.
One of life's great pleasures is picking a warm strawberry first thing in the morning on a summer day. Along with fresh eating, I have been storing bags of them in the freezer, and one of my favorite things to do with them is make a smoothie.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Frozen Strawberries
- 1 Cup Frozen Banana
- 1 Cup Coconut Water
- 1/2 Cup Sprouted Almonds (check out the separate post for step-by-step instructions on how to sprout almonds)
Instructions:
- Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend well.
